This week, our donation for October Without Hunger went to the Associação Area do Pinhal. They were able to distribute our fruits and vegetables to their families, thus providing them with a week of much more colorful meals!!

This week our donation went to Casa T , a center for transvestite reception, socialization and autonomy! Casa T was created in August 2020 as a response to the widespread and worsening housing crisis for transgender and/or immigrant and/or racialized people. This project has the intention, need and urgency to shelter and protect transgender people who live, in the almost absolute majority of cases, in conditions of vulnerability. Still without state funding, they are currently running a Go Fund Me campaign that will help pay the rent and expenses to continue this project. This week we decided to help out...

This week 250kg of (im)perfect fruits and vegetables from Equal Food were donated to Santos Collective to support APSOV (parish assistance of santos-o-velho)

October has arrived and with it the start of our Equal Food fruit and vegetable basket donation initiative. This week we went to learn about SOUMA, a project created in 2017 by Amigos da Estrela - Associação de Solidariedade Social, whose mission is to transform lives, focusing essentially on isolation and social exclusion regardless of age or life circumstances.
