Oven-roasted cauliflower

Are you always unsure how to use the cauliflower in your basket? We can help!

Here is a tasty, healthy and lighter suggestion that can be used as a side dish or as a main course! It is also very easy and practical to make. Let's do it!

Ingredients:

    • 1 medium head of cauliflower
    • 5 tablespoons of olive oil
    • 1 tablespoon paprika
    • 1 tablespoon dried garlic
    • 1 tablespoon cumin
    • 1 teaspoon turmeric
    • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
    • 1 teaspoon tomato paste (optional)
    • Salt and pepper to taste

Toppings:

  • Pomegranates
  • Parsley
  • Crushed walnuts with parmesan cheese and herbs
  1. Wash the cauliflower head well.
  2. Mix the olive oil, paprika, dried garlic, cumin, turmeric, mustard, tomato paste, salt and black pepper.
  3. Brush the mixture over the cauliflower head and place in the oven preheated to 200ºC.
  4. Bake in a baking dish covered with aluminum foil for 45-50 minutes.
  5. Remove the aluminum foil, reduce the temperature to 180ºC and bake for another 15 minutes (the time may vary depending on the oven).
  6. Remove and let cool.
  7. Finally, add the pomegranates, chopped parsley and the mixture of nuts, parmesan cheese and herbs.
