Apple Vinaigrette

Who says apples can only be eaten in desserts? They're incredibly versatile, and this apple vinaigrette is perfect for spicing up your meals! Ana Sofia shows us an amazing way to use the apples you have at home and surprise everyone with this refreshing and healthy vinaigrette.

Serves 4 people
Vegetarian or vegan - Vegan

Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 1 bunch of chopped cilantro
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp of cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of agave
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • Juice of 1/2 orange
  • Drops of lemon juice as needed
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Wash the apples well and cut them into cubes. Place them in a bowl and add a few drops of lemon juice, toss to combine. Chop the onion and cilantro and add to the apples.

In a bowl, combine the orange juice, olive oil, agave syrup, mustard, and vinegar. Mix well and add pepper and salt. Add the dressing to the apples and coat thoroughly. Finish with sesame seeds and enjoy!
